Thanks Jon and whoever worked on the new 'browse shows' features.

In case you didn't see it, when you now go to 'browse shows' for a particular band, you still see the 'yearly overview' where you pick which year you want to go furthur into, but you also now get a cool box with lots of fun links.

Official site
Band policy
and links to the most popular show for that band and the most recent show for that band.

Great times and extra kudos to you guys! this place gets better every month, and if the rate of show additions so far for dec. holds up, we'll be looking at 765 shows for Dec! i'm sure it will be less with the holidayz, etc, but seeing the surge in post-summer contributions i wouldn't rule it out.

Thank you tapers and uploaders for making this place a great place for sharing freely live music.

You're welcome - it's a pleasure :) Brewster and I brainstormed it this morning and it seemed like a good way to point people to shows by bands they might not be familiar with.

Next step is to allow a description to be entered for bands, and this will be shown in that box.

Rock on :)

Thanks, neat!

One cool thing for bands, I think I've been noticing official websites' google page ranks going up after placement here. So for the ones with shows archived, the new website link should help even more with their profile. :)

Yeah that's cool, its great to download the best show from a band you've never heard of. Thanks for all you do to keep this site going.
